The diagrams show funerary urns of the type that were used in The Chosen to smuggle Carnelian and Osidian out of Osrakum.

Corpses are buried in these folded into a foetal position as shown. That Carnelian and Osidian had far less room inside their urns than is shown is because these urns are not made for bodies as large as those of the Masters.

Such urns are 'eared' with many handles. Some of these are used, as shown, to allow a pole to be thrust through them so that they can then be carried. Others are used to attach the ropes which keep the lids tightly closed.
