Perhaps it is the case that in these times all writers could do with having a website. Specific reasons are behind my desire for this one. The first is that I have become aware that there is much misinformation on the Web concerning my work. Not least were the rumours circulating concerning a mysterious 2nd book in the trilogy entitled THE KISSED which was supposed to have been published in 2001. This was in fact a working title for THE STANDING DEAD and 2001 was the deadline set in my contract which, I am afraid, I missed.

A stronger motive was one of expanding on the necessarily terse and often misleading information given on the covers of the various editions. But I must admit that the strongest of all was so that I might be able to show to anyone who might be interested some of the support material that I have produced over the years.

Inexperience and a tendency towards perfectionism means that this scaffolding exceeds by at least an order of magnitude the actual text of the book. No doubt, at some later date, should the Stone Dance prove to be successful enough, some of this scaffolding might have been published in some 'The World of The Stone Dance of the Chameleon,' but I am convinced that much of this material can be better presented online. As I continue to work towards the completion of the work, I will upload as much material as I can.
