This website can be explored using the integral menu system and equally well by using the extensive network of hyperlinks, the top level entry points to which are provided in the sitemap. This in turn can be accessed either through the footer or from the end of the "overview" menu.

There are three specific ways to access the 'scaffolding' or support material for the books which is supplied on this site.

The first is through the structure of the books themselves in the "books" menu. Encountering some unfamiliar term or topic while reading the books, a reader can go to a webpage corresponding to a given chapter and see if there exists a relevant link there. This allows an exploration along the timeline of the story.

The second is through a collection of categories, a glossary and character list contained in the "support" menu.

The third is through a collection of maps and diagrams and sketches of locations allowing a reader to explore the world of the books spatially.
