(+versão portuguesa)
I do appreciate that, with the long time there has been between the publication of the first two parts of the Stone Dance and the final part, that some people who read the first two books when they came out might look upon them with a bit of dismay – not sure they want to read them again before diving into The Third God. For those people, I have provided summaries of the first two books here… both quick summaries and more detailed ones… (Please don’t forget to set the access level to ‘pomegranate’)

yes, i guess so. sometimes it might feel like an escape of some sort. a refuge among all the familiar characters and events.
but of course, there’s nothing like a new book or a new author, and all the promises of new and wonderfull things.
I’m allready reading the third god, and it all came back to me pretty quickly…
so far it’s been excellent.
oh and it was an honour to meet you in Lisboa!!!
I suppose it depends on how long ago you read the previous books… I enjoyed meeting you too, and my other readers… it’s a rather rare experience! I am grateful for modern communications that allow us all to stay in contact in a way that would have been unimaginable even just a few years ago…
well i’ve read The Chosen a few times, and when i knew the third god was about to come, i read again the standing dead *grin* so i remembered them quite well.
ah! that explains it… *grin* Someone wrote to me saying they had read the first two books 19 times each?!?!? When I was a kid I did read The Lord of the Rings many many times… so I do understand how that’s possible…
yeah that’s right! i’ve read The Lord of the Rings several times too.
whenever i get bored with nothing new to read *large grin*
generally, I rarely rewatch/reread work of any kind… but there are books – Lord of the Rings is one – that are somehow deeply comforting… and partially that might well be because of familiarity…
