If you&#039;re talking Japanese woodblock prints, then I can recommend looking at Toulouse Lautrec&#039;s work - He also was influenced by those, but then did things like

As for the heavy contour, this was a result of me using charcoal for the first time... and it producing (in my hand at least) a very heavy line. On the other hand, I must admit to being much influenced in my sensibility by Japanese woodblock prints...</description>
